Introduction
Today in this article we will discuss how you can submit your website to Google Search Console. Search Console is an essential tool provided by Google, offering website owners valuable insights into their website’s performance. This tool assists in monitoring the search engine ranking and overall performance of the website.
Steps For Adding Website in Search Console
1- Sign up in Search Console :
First, you need to search for Google Search Console on Google. After that, you need to open the first website related to Search Console. Here, you will see the option to start. Click on it.
2- Submit Your Website Link :
After that, you need to log in to your website and copy the link of your website. Here, you will see the option for the URL prefix. Paste it here and click on continue.
3- Verify Your Ownership :
After clicking on continue, you will see several options, but you should not select any of them because some of them may not be relevant to you. Therefore, as I mentioned earlier, you just have to proceed. This will quickly add your website to Google Search Console.
Here, you will find the HTML tag option. Click on it, and you will see a code along with the option to copy it. You need to copy that code and paste it below the <head> section of your website’s HTML code.
4- Explore Features and Tools :
As soon as you paste the code into your website, after a while, the “Go to Property” option will appear. You need to click on it and explore your new features.
5- Submit Your Website Sitemap :
After that, you will need to submit your website’s sitemap, which will inform Google that your website exists. Now, all you have to do is click on the “Site Map” option located on the left side. Then, you need to write the site map. ” Sitemap.xml ”
After writing this, click on “Submit,” and your website map will be indexed. After that, you can view all the details of your website, such as where your website is being seen from, how many impressions and clicks you’re receiving, and what your CTR (click-through rate) is. You can see all of this in Google Search Console.
